Student Grant Notice

 

NTNC-Biodiversity Conservation Center announces the call for proposal from eligible students pursuing final year of Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Forestry/Environmental Science or related field to accomplish their dissertation/field/project work in and around Chitwan-Parsa Complex and eastern Nepal. The amount of the grant will be NRs. 35,000 for B.Sc. students and 50,000 for M.Sc. students (including tax). The thematic areas of the proposed proposal should be related to any of the following topic:

1.      Impact of linear Infrastructure on wildlife in Barandabhar Corridor

2.      Human Elephant Conflict: Impacts and mitigation in eastern Nepal

3.      Habitat dynamics in Chitwan- Parsa Complex

4.       Focal Species  Ecological Research (Pangolin, Gharial, Leopard, Dhole)

5.      Least Studied Taxa , and

6.       Illegal Wildlife Trade in Nepal

Please apply with:

1.       A page of cover letter

2.       A research proposal (not more than six pages)

3.       A recent CV (not more than two pages)

4.       Selected student must have co-supervisor/s from NTNC

5.       Supporting letter from supervisor, head of the affiliated department or Institution. The application (digital/hardcopy or both) must be submitted to the following address within 18 January, 2019.
